Our process begins with an online free consultation designed to help you understand your options before making any decisions. We take the time to listen, explain whether a psychoeducational assessment is appropriate, and outline what the next steps could look like. This gives you clarity and confidence without pressure or commitment
Our team will help review your insurance benefits and explain what may be covered before you proceed. We do this to reduce financial uncertainty and help you plan with clearer expectations, with direct billing available to major insurance companies.

The cost of assessments at Calgary Psych Services are based on the fee schedule recommended by Psychologists' Association of Alberta, therefor it is recommended to discuss pricing on the consultation with your psychologist as it varies depending on your situation.
Many families are unsure at first. That’s why we begin with a free consultation to understand your concerns, your child’s history, and whether an assessment would be appropriate — before any commitment is made.
The consultation is a relaxed conversation where we listen, answer questions, explain possible assessment options, and outline next steps if appropriate. There is no obligation to proceed.
That’s completely okay. The consultation is designed to give you clarity — whether or not you choose to move forward with an assessment.
A diagnosis is not always necessary or appropriate. Our role is to assess thoroughly and provide accurate, ethical conclusions based on the results — whether that includes a diagnosis or not.
Coverage varies by provider and plan. We can help you understand potential coverage and billing options after we contact you, just leave your details in the form above.
If you’re feeling unsure, you don’t need to decide everything today. A free consultation allows you to talk things through, understand your options, and move forward with confidence.
